Benefits of Spray Foam Insulation

Thermal Properties
Insulation is rated in terms of thermal resistance “R-Value” which indicates the resistance of heat flow. The higher the R-Value, the greater the insulation properties. InsulMax-500 has the highest R-Value at 3.9 per inch of all readily available cost effective insulations in the market. The R-Value will not deteriorate over time as it does not allow for moisture penetration through the wall cavity. InsulMax-500 provides a draft free envelope around the structure and improves air quality.

Another advantage of InsulMax-500 and how it lends itself to high thermal performance is the fact that it permanently fills and seals all voids creating an air barrier. As InsulMax-500 is applied it expands up to 100 times its size filling the space it’s applied too. Unlike other traditional insulations such as fiberglass or cellulose, InsulMax-500 will not settle or sag over time. It remains in place for the life of the structure and does not support mold growth.
